Welcome.

You can read more about us and why this site was started, but here we are going to focus on getting you ready to build generational wealth and reach financial freedom.

Here are a few things you need to know to make the most of Wealth Noir and start your financial journey.

Who is this site for?

It’s for anyone interested in reaching financial freedom or creating generational wealth.

Who this site is really for?

High-income millennial professionals looking to reach the next level of wealth: financial freedom and generational wealth.

Financial Freedom means that working for someone else is an option, not a necessity. Financial Freedom isn’t just about quitting your job, but having the freedom to decide for yourself.

Generational Wealth is about leaving money for your grandkid’s grandkids. The black community isn’t filled with stories of inherited wealth and we think we can change that.

You will get the most value out of this site if you are a high-income earner (more than $75k a year) or have a solid net worth (more than $100k). The advanced wealth generation tactics we cover will allow you to really accelerate how quickly you generate wealth.

Your Journey to Wealth

Remember, they call it personal finance because it’s personal to your situation. We’ll give you everything you need to generate wealth, but you must find what appeals to you.

The way we see it, there are four stages in the Wealth Journey. Being honest about where you are now is important. You don’t have to tell us, just keep it in your head. Each article on the site is tagged with different parts of the journey. When you find your stage, click the link to see all the articles just for you.

The Struggle aka Emergency (Stage 0)
Money isn’t your friend. You struggle to pay bills, you refuse to look at your credit score, and debt is eating you alive. Many never experience this level, but too many live it daily.

If this sounds like you, there are going to be some better places to start out than this site. We’ll have some stuff for you, but check out these sites for better help to get out of the struggle
Better Credit Blog and How to Rebuild Credit (Nerdwallet)

I’m Eating aka The Minimum (Stage 1)
You make enough money to pay your bills, with a little left over. You’re terrified of layoffs and retirement is basically a hope and a prayer. You’re not worried about today, but afraid of your financial future.

I’m Good aka The Basics (Stage 2)
You’re maxing retirement account contributions and you earn more than you spend. You have an emergency fund and might dabble in investing. If your goal is to just retire comfortably, great … you made it!

Wealthy aka Advanced (Final Stage)
Your diversified portfolio is tax optimized and generating passive income. You don’t need to work, or close to it, and there is a good chance your grandchildren will have college paid for with the trust you set-up.

Why Wealth Matters to Me is a little bit of my story and why I decided to get serious about generating wealth. Hopefully it provides the last bit of motivation you need to get serious about your wealth.
